Through USAID’s Water Security, Sanitation, and Hygiene Data & Analytics (WSSH D&A) Activity, EnCompass will serve as the gender equality and social inclusion (GESI) partner with SEGURA Consulting. Our team will also support monitoring, evaluation, and learning activities, and provide technical assistance. The project’s key objectives include:

  • Strengthening the WSSH data landscape through research and WSSH sector engagement
  • Designing new WSSH decision support tools for USAID and stakeholders
  • Monitoring high-level impacts of USAID’s WSSH systems strengthening work
  • Providing on-demand customized support to USAID Operating Units (OUs) to enable evidence-informed decision-making

The WSSH D&A team will support USAID OUs and Missions by organizing an expert advisory panel and other sectoral convenings, conducting research on forward-looking topics, developing decision support tools, providing training on such tools, and monitoring the links between WSSH services and USAID systems strengthening work across the globe, among other tasks designed to increase the usage, equity, and accessibility of WSSH sector data and analytics. This global program aims to increase the use of data and analytics to accelerate progress toward a water-secure world.
