EnCompass worked with NEA to develop a curriculum on social justice for use by its cadre of trainers. Using content provided by social justice experts, EnCompass developed modules for one-hour, two-hour, or four-hour training sessions. The modules contain a mixture of lecturettes, guided activities, group discussion, and feedback opportunities. The program is designed to give NEA members the skills to identify forms of social oppression in public education and motivate them to engage in social justice activities that will create a more just environment for students and educators.
