Alaine Kennedy, Vice President, Business Development, has more than 18 years of experience in business development, international development, and executive education programs focused on leadership and management development and public policy issues. Since joining EnCompass in 2008, Alaine has supported the growth of EnCompass’ business development systems and processes, and has worked to expand the company’s pipeline of opportunities, build relationships with partners in the government agency and international development marketplace, and implement short-term and long-term business growth strategies. She has leveraged her skills in relationship building, technical writing, and budget development to support proposal teams in designing compelling and winning proposals for projects focused on global health, education, gender and inclusive development, climate change, capacity strengthening, and evaluation.
Ms. Kennedy leads the business development team, strategic partnering, and support to operationalize new business opportunities throughout the company. She holds an MA in International Relations and European Studies from the University of Kent, Canterbury, United Kingdom, and a BA in Government from the University of Notre Dame, South Bend, Indiana.
