Reception for GEDI Scholars in Culturally Responsive Evaluation: August 20

Written by: EnCompass Staff

EnCompass will host the Graduate Education Diversity Internship (GEDI) Scholars at our Rockville, Maryland headquarters for a career roundtable discussion and reception on Monday, August 20. The GEDI Scholars program is an initiative of the American Evaluators Association that supports masters- and doctoral-level students in a variety of academic fields from groups normally underrepresented in the field of evaluation.

Through site placements, regular seminars, and attendance at American Evaluators Association’s annual events, GEDI Scholars build their evaluation research capacity while deepening the profession’s capacity to engage in culturally responsive evaluation.

During the EnCompass-hosted event on Monday evening, members of EnCompass’ evaluation practice area as well as other guests will share their advice and experiences working in evaluation, and learn more about the promising GEDI Scholars participating in the 2018 cohort. We look forward to welcoming these future leaders and facilitating an inspired discussion!
