EnCompass designs and implements human resource and performance management training for USAID in support of the Human Capital and Talent Management office. EnCompass designs and facilitates workshops, delivers proprietary and customized training, and facilitates a variety of staff developmental activities. In 2016, EnCompass addressed a range of staff performance management needs and developed a suite of six mandatory courses for all USAID supervisors.  Among the standard courses EnCompass implements are:

  • Career Candidate Corps orientation for new Foreign Service Officers
  • New Employee Orientation, both general schedule and foreign-service professionals
  • Supervisor Certification Course for managers, supervisors, and team leaders stationed in missions worldwide and at headquarters
  • Working Across Cultures workshops
  • Training of internal coaches
  • Human Resource Management training for managers and supervisors
  • Mentoring Matters to support the transfer of institutional knowledge to the next generation of USAID leaders

In addition to training and facilitation, EnCompass provides project management support, contributes to program design, and collects and compiles evaluation data in order to strengthen USAID’s human resources and performance management training capacity.
