EnCompass manages USAID’s Global Health Professional and Organizational Development (GHPOD) II program. GHPOD II provides holistic capacity-strengthening support to help USAID health sector staff lead and manage health programs. This includes professional development, organizational development, and individual and team coaching for USAID teams that support health sector staff around the world.
GHPOD II also manages the Global Health e-Learning Center and assists USAID’s Bureau for Global Health with planning and execution of the annual Global Health Science and Practice Technical Exchange (GHTechx), formerly known as the Global Health Mini-University.
Through the GHPOD II mechanism, EnCompass’ team provides a variety of training and learning programs, including multimedia, virtual, and in-person activities that help build USAID staff capacity in technical areas, program management, leadership, personal and team effectiveness, retreats and strategic meetings, and staff performance management.
Each year, GHPOD II designs and delivers as many as 45 professional development programs and 50 organizational development interventions, and provides coaching to about 60 USAID global health professionals.
