EnCompass, as a subcontractor to John Snow International, was responsible for policy, quality improvement, and development of e-learning packages in support of the AIDSTAR Program, a USAID mechanism to implement the US Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR).
The goal of AIDSTAR’s e-learning program was to “disseminate good, promising and proven practices in HIV/AIDS service delivery.” In support of this goal, EnCompass developed the Pediatric HIV Service Delivery e-learning program. This e-toolkit is aimed toward those involved in leading and managing pediatric HIV care and treatment programs, and adapting these programs to recommendations from the World Health Organization. The interactive resource offers tools, resources, and training in a multi-module format. EnCompass has also completed an e-learning program entitled Water and Sanitation in Health (WASH). EnCompass designed three one-hour modules focusing on sanitation and safety in clinics.
