EnCompass is delighted to announce that it has been awarded the latest USAID Agency-wide Training and Facilitation contract. Awarded by the USAID Office of Human Capital and Talent Management (HCTM)/Center for Professional Development (CPD), this five-year contract builds upon similar work EnCompass has provided to the Agency since 2006, including on-boarding for new civil and foreign service officers, supervisor skills workshops, training on workforce diversity topics, and other staff development activities. EnCompass is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the USAID PPL Monitoring and Evaluation (EVAL-ME) IDIQ.

As the largest small business set-aside in USAID history, this five year EVAL-ME contract will support USAID’s goal of providing monitoring and evaluation (M&E) technical and advisory services for USAID’s Bureau of Policy, Planning and Learning, Office of Learning, Evaluation, and Research (USAID/PPL/LER).

As the largest women’s empowerment program in USAID history , the “Promote” project aims at advancing opportunities for Afghan women to become political, private sector, and civil society leaders. EnCompass is honored to be part of the team of partners led by Chemonics International that includes Afghan and U.S.-based organizations.

Launched in Kabul in October, Promote is designed to help 75,000 young Afghan women become leaders over the course of the five-year program. USAID is providing $216 million to Promote, with other donors possibly contributing an additional $200 million. EnCompass President, Tessie Catsambas, has been invited to join the Executive Advisory Board of the Council for International Development Companies (CIDC).  She joins a distinguished group of leaders in the international development field to provide guidance to this organization of nearly 120 company members.
