On Monday, March 21, EnCompass CEO/CFO Tessie Catsambas and President Sherry Rockey joined a breakfast meeting with the new USAID Administrator Gayle Smith. The breakfast was organized by the Professional Services Council’s Council of International Development Companies. The Administrator shared her intention to continue on a steady path of implementing her predecessor’s initiatives and policies including climate change, humanitarian policy, Power Africa, and Global Health Security. She also talked about aligning USAID’s portfolio with the Sustainable Development Goals, and pursuing strong public-private partnerships to achieve them. We wish Administrator Smith good luck in her leadership of USAID, and remain committed to support her in any way we can. Over the last few years, EnCompass has trained more than one-fifth of USAID’s staff, and we feel especially positioned to support this important organization.
