EnCompass president, Tessie Catsambas, is among the international evaluation leaders gathered in Beirut this July to plan a global strategy for strengthening evaluation capacities in civil society. This initiative - EvalPartners - was launched by the International Organization for Cooperation in Evaluation (IOCE) and UNICEF during a January meeting in Accra, Ghana. Tessie serves as the Secretary of the IOCE Board of Directors and also on the Executive Committee of EvalPartners. EvalPartners will work in close collaboration with representatives from evaluation professional associations, United Nations agencies, major funders, and civil society, beginning with a forum to take place in Chiang Mai, Thailand this December.
