New Project: USAID Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning in Senegal Platform

Written by: Courtney Carr

EnCompass is excited to share that we have been awarded the USAID Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning in Senegal platform. Through this 5-year contract, EnCompass will provide USAID/Senegal with a full suite of MEL services including: planning, conducting, and disseminating evaluations; program monitoring; facilitating CLA (collaborating, learning, adapting) within the USAID/Senegal Mission and implementing partners; robust data visualization; and strategic communications support. This project will also work to strengthen the MEL capacity of the Senegalese Government-to-Government partners, local civil society organizations, emerging MEL professionals, and USAID implementing partners.

We are especially thrilled about this being our fourth country-based, Mission-specific MEL platform. EnCompass currently leads platforms in LebanonPeru, and Ukraine. MELS is our largest MEL platform and scope to date, and our first long-term contract and office in a Francophone country as a prime implementor.

This project will continue our longstanding, successful partnership with Management Systems International (MSI), the previous holder of the USAID/Senegal MEL platform. Together with MSI, EnCompass looks forward to collaborating with Senegalese and regional staff members to support USAID’s commitment to program effectiveness.
