EnCompass is delighted to announce that USAID’s Center for Education has selected our team to lead the Designing Effective eVidence-Based Engagement and Learning for Organizational Performance (DEVELOP) contract. The DEVELOP team will provide organizational development, professional development, and communications and knowledge management support for this new center of excellence within USAID’s Bureau for Development, Democracy, and Innovation.
“We are excited to support USAID’s Center for Education in operationalizing the goals of the Education Policy so that children and youth worldwide have increased access to quality education and the skills they need to lead productive, meaningful lives,” said Kathy Callahan, Vice President of Learning and Leadership Development, whose team will lead our work with the Center for Education.
Over 5 years, EnCompass and its partners will provide integrated organizational development, professional development, strategic communications, and knowledge management services to help strengthen USAID’s leadership in the education sector. DEVELOP includes managing two knowledge portals: Marketlinks for the Center for Economics and Market Development, and EducationLinks, where our team for the USAID Data and Evidence for Education Programs (DEEP) activity has been a contributor since 2018. This contract also deepens our partnerships with two essential subcontractors, Bixal and Knowledge Partners.
DEVELOP’s scope includes an emphasis on diversity, equity, and inclusion—areas that are important to EnCompass’ organizational values. Our team is excited to offer a new lens for examining USAID’s education work during a time of protracted change. We are eager to blend our expertise with USAID’s to catalyze and sustain an organizational learning and improvement process that helps staff work smarter, not harder, in their efforts to move the dial on education outcomes, and to capture and share evidence for improved education policy and programming.
We look forward to working with the Center for Education, Bixal, and Knowledge Partners on this exciting new contract. For more information about this project, please visit our work with us page. We look forward to sharing updates as our work proceeds.
