EnCompass is excited to announce that we have been awarded the USAID/Zambia Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Platform contract, establishing our presence in Southern Africa. This is the company’s eighth U.S. government MEL support office outside the United States, and furthers our commitment to delivering exceptional MEL services globally.
This five-year contract will equip USAID/Zambia, its implementing partners, and local country stakeholders with the tools and expertise necessary to enhance the performance and impact of USAID’s in-country programming. We are proud to partner with SoCha LLC, the implementer of Z-MELP I, to continue the successful provision of services for USAID in Zambia. The project team is also partnering with local organizations, including universities, to provide demand-driven technical assistance, analytical services, and logistical support to ensure the Mission can effectively engage, analyze, and communicate the impact of its initiatives.
The Zambia MEL platform includes an innovative annual internship program, offering 12 young and emerging evaluators (YEEs) a full scholarship to attend an EnCompass Learning Center (ELC) course. The project will operate a Learning Hub Facility, known as “The Hub,” located near the U.S. Embassy in Lusaka. This facility will foster Collaborating, Learning, and Adapting (CLA) through in-person and virtual meetings and conferences, ensuring that USAID/Zambia has access to a state-of-the-art learning facility. We look forward to collaborating with our partners and supporting USAID in this important work.
