On Tuesday, May 2, Lynne Franco, EnCompass VP for Technical Assistance and Evaluation, received honors from USAID Administrator Dr. Rajiv Shah as the lead author of an evaluation reports selected for their high quality. The report, Results of Collaborative Improvement: Effects on Health Outcomes and Compliance with Evidence-Based Standards in 27 Applications in 12 Countries, one of five evaluation reports selected by the PPL’s Office of Learning, Evaluation, and Research for demonstrating high quality.
The data in the report cover 81 distinct measures of compliance with standards and outcomes for maternal, newborn, and child health, HIV/AIDS care, family planning, and malaria and tuberculosis diagnosis and treatment. The report provides compelling evidence that collaborative improvement can achieve large increases in performance, regardless of the baseline level of quality, and that results can be achieved relatively rapidly.
Congratulations, Lynne and Team!
