UPDATE: Unfortunately, Michelle and other panelists have had to cancel travel plans to Frankfurt. But stay tuned for a story about lessons from our work with USAID as a growing women-owned small business.
EnCompass is proud to support USAID’s Journey to Self-Reliance, which seeks to integrate sustainability and capacity strengthening into USAID’s Program Cycle at the country level. As a women-owned small business, we are delighted to contribute to this conversation about how we can support the agency and partner countries on this journey at USAID’s 2nd Overseas Small Business Conference on March 3 and 4.
Our Vice President of Business Strategies, Michelle DeFayette, is traveling to the conference in Frankfurt, Germany, joining fellow small business representatives to discuss programming and procurement priorities for Europe, Eurasia, the Middle East, and Africa.
“I’m privileged to have the opportunity to speak on a panel, alongside the CEOs of Banyan Global and Panagora, about EnCompass’ experience as a prime working on the USAID Monitoring and Evaluation IDIQ over the past five years,” Michelle said. “Together, we can showcase how women-owned small businesses can continue to successfully support missions and the Journey to Self-Reliance.” EnCompass won numerous task orders under that contract, known as the EVAL-ME IDIQ, including utilization-focused performance evaluations of the USAID/Malawi ASPIRE Activity, MEASURE Evaluation Phase IV, and mSTAR and the GBI Alliance programs.
With past and current work in all four regions of focus for this conference, EnCompass looks forward to learning about the missions’ needs and sharing our company’s expertise, services, and values in alignment with USAID’s policy framework. Follow us on Twitter at @EnCompass_World over the next few days to learn more about our work to support self-reliant, country-led development.
Gute Reise, Michelle!
