EnCompass is delighted to announce that we are expanding our support for AIDSFree, a USAID program that aims to improve the effectiveness of HIV treatment and prevention efforts. In our new roles, we will provide technical support to USAID’s voluntary medical male circumcision (VMMC) programs. VMMC is a highly effective procedure in reducing the spread of HIV and increasing the accessibility of HIV testing services for males.

EnCompass’ work will ensure the quality and safety of VMMC programs in Lesotho, Namibia, Malawi, Mozambique, Swaziland, and Tanzania. EnCompass will work with the Ministry of Health in each country, service providers, and other members of the AIDSFree Consortium. EnCompass staff will be based locally in each of the six countries.

“With EnCompass’ deep expertise in Quality Improvement, our team is well positioned to reveal and build upon the most effective practices in this procedure,” said Lynne Franco, EnCompass’ Vice President of Technical Assistance and Evaluation. “This work will make a real difference in reducing the transmission of HIV and AIDS.”
