EnCompass Honors EvalPartners Accomplishments at the Third Global Evaluation Forum in Kyrgyzstan

Written by: admin

From April 26 through 28, EvalPartners’ Third Global Evaluation Forum (GF3) was held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. This year’s theme was “Transforming our world through evaluation: engagement and partnerships for the better world we want”, with a special focus on the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The forum reflected on the three pillars of the EvalAgenda 2020, which are:

  1. Enhancing the individual capacity of evaluations
  2. Enhancing the institutional capacity toward evaluation
  3. Enabling a positive environment for evaluation.

During the opening ceremony, EnCompass CEO/CFO Tessie Catsambas, who has served EvalPartners in a variety of leadership capacities, shared a video that honors the EvalPartners journey, highlighting all that the group and its many volunteers have accomplished since its formation in 2012. Upon the forum’s conclusion, GF3 participants delivered a Partnership Statement, “setting expectations of various components of the evaluation ecosystem and reaffirming an engagement towards immediate and ultimate global development goals.”

GF3 was organized by EvalPartners in conjunction with the International Organization for Cooperation in Evaluation (IOCE), the United Nations Evaluation Group (UNEG), the Global Parliamentarians Forum for Evaluation, the Kyrgyz M & E Network, and the Eurasian Evaluation Network, will bring together representatives from governments, evaluation networks, and private sector and development partners from around the world. For more information about the upcoming forum, please visit the dedicated page on EvalPartners’ website.
