As agencies, organizations, and professionals continue to adapt to working through the COVID-19 pandemic, EnCompass remains ready to help. With our years of expertise in virtual collaboration, we have been able to reinforce our commitment to inclusivity despite the challenges poised by operating during a pandemic. In addition to providing exceptional support to our clients over the past several months, we have developed a number of resources to help others continue their important work in international development, learning, and evaluation:
- An Evaluators’ Guide to COVID-19
- USAID Education Resources in Response to COVID-19
- The Virtues of Virtual Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning
- Feed the Future’s Advancing Women’s Empowerment Activity Newsletter: Women’s Empowerment in Agriculture is Essential to COVID-19 Survival and Recovery
Two videos specifically showcase EnCompass’ expertise in designing and delivering virtual events and learning programs. In addition, our EnCompass Learning Center offers a fully virtual suite of course offerings, with expert instructors from a variety of disciplines, such as inclusive evaluation and gender integration.
In June, we published a series of reflections from our Gender and Inclusive Development team lead, Dr. Pat Morris, and team members working on projects across the African continent. These blog posts are rich in insights about far-reaching impacts COVID-19 has had at the country level:
- COVID-19, Gender Inequality, and Social Exclusion: Where I Enter, by Dr. Pat Morris
- Perspectives and Responses from Across the African Continent, by Shailee Ghelani
- Perspectives and Responses from Uganda, by Joy Angulo
- Perspectives and Responses from Ethiopia, by Heran Tadesse
