EnCompass is a Top Workplace in the Washington, D.C. area for 2018, based on the results of a staff survey. One of just 150 recipients, EnCompass was honored at a ceremony on June 21 and featured in the June 24 edition of Washington Post Magazine. This is an enormously proud moment for all of us at EnCompass.
EnCompass is fully committed to providing a work environment where staff are actively engaged, find deep satisfaction from their work, and have opportunities for professional growth. What stands out the most from the survey findings is that EnCompass is especially strong at encouraging new ideas and points of view, living our values, and caring about and appreciating each other. Staff say EnCompass offers a positive workplace that helps people learn and grow; through their job, they feel they are part of something meaningful.
“All of us at EnCompass have a deep commitment to an open, collaborative, and appreciative work environment. This award is a wonderful testament to the efforts of our entire staff to create and sustain this unique culture and special workplace,” said Sherry Rockey, EnCompass’ President. “Tessie [Catsambas, CEO/CFO of EnCompass] and I want to share our heartfelt gratitude to the team for making EnCompass one of the Top Workplaces in 2018 and beyond!”
The annual “Best Places to Work” survey has been conducted in cities across the United States since 2006 by Energage. In that time, they have surveyed 47,000 organizations and 16 million employees. More than 6,000 workplaces were surveyed for this year’s awards.
