Stewart I. Donaldson

Dr. Stewart I. Donaldson is Executive Director of the Claremont Evaluation Center (CEC) at Claremont Graduate University, and Professor of Psychology and Community and Global Health. He has taught numerous courses and published widely on the topic of evaluation theory and practice; his work has been extensively cited. He has published more than 200 peer-reviewed scientific articles, chapters, and evaluation reports, as well as numerous evaluation books, including his most recent titles Evaluation for an Equitable Society (2016); Credible and Actionable Evidence: The Foundation for Rigorous and Influential Evaluations (2015); Emerging Practices in International Development Evaluation (2013); and The Future of Evaluation in Society: A Tribute to Michael Scriven (2013). Dr. Donaldson received American Evaluation Association’s Paul F. Lazarsfeld Evaluation Theory Award for lifetime achievement in the field in 2013, and served as President of the American Evaluation Association in 2015.
