Val Gandhi

Valentine J. Gandhi is a senior evaluation, innovation, and tech4good specialist, with more than 20 years of interdisciplinary experience at both the field and policy levels. He has experience with implementing and leading quantitative and qualitative research, teaching and training, project management, M&E, strategic consulting, knowledge sharing, and capacity building with various UN, CGIAR, and donor agencies. He has developed and led multi-country projects on livelihoods, ICT4D, health, and climate-smart agriculture technologies. He is the founder of the think tank  The Development CAFÉ  and co-founder of the  NIRAS Data Futures Hub, and regularly speaks on the topic of innovations in international development. He recently served as the Chief of Party for USAID/Indonesia’s Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Support program and is a Senior Advisor on Tech 4 Good for GEI Launchpad of the Independent Evaluation Group of the World Bank. He is currently the Chief of Party for the USAID/MELSA project in Southeast Asia with Bixal Inc.
