Leona Ba

Dr. Leona Ba is an organizational development and evaluation professional with more than 20 years of experience in developing and evaluating the performance and effectiveness of organizations, teams, and individuals using culturally responsive approaches. She designs and implements customized interventions based on thorough assessments and is a Prosci Certified Change Manager.

Dr. Ba has worked mainly in Sub-Saharan Africa, Haiti, and North America providing technical assistance to organizations such as the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the United States State Department, United Nations agencies, the World Cocoa Foundation, Plan International, and the International Development Research Centre (IDRC). She has worked with programs intervening in areas including agriculture, emergency response, education, health, microenterprise development, and natural resource management.

Dr. Ba is an accomplished trainer in program design and evaluation, having taught related courses for organizations such as USAID, the Department of State, DAI, Olam Cocoa, and the Regional Centre for Mapping of Resources for Development (RCMRD).

Dr. Ba holds a Doctorate in Human Resource Development/ Organizational Development from the George Washington University, and a Master of Science in Agriculture from the University of Maryland. She is fluent in English and in French.
