Virtual learning is a primary component of EnCompass’ expertise in learning and capacity strengthening. Senior Program Manager for Learning, Nina Talley Everflow, will be representing this expertise in two sessions at the 2018 Learning Solutions Conference and Expo, happening March 27 to 29 in Orlando, Florida.
On March 28, Nina will speak on technical challenges to producing virtual sessions for participants with low or sporadic Internet connections. Whether domestic or international, there are software and design solutions to accommodate these challenges. Nina will share her skills and practices conducting virtual sessions that are accessible and instructive despite low Internet bandwidth conditions.
That same day, Nina will also be speaking on a panel entitled “The Present and Future of Virtual Classroom Tools.” She will be accompanied by Jennifer Hofmann and Karen Hyder, esteemed colleagues in the field of virtual learning. This forward-looking topic will focus on the evolution of technology and how new technology can bring virtual learning to a broader audience.
