Ted Rizzo is a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Specialist at EnCompass. Mr. Rizzo has more than 5 years of experience in evaluation and implementation of projects related to education, positive youth development, adolescent sexual and reproductive health, gender-based violence, and child marriage. Before joining EnCompass, he was a Gender and Development Specialist at the International Center for Research on Women, supporting qualitative analysis for a range of projects supporting adolescent empowerment and research on gender and social norms around child marriage. Previously, he was a history teacher in New York City and a youth development Peace Corps Volunteer in Morocco.
Mr. Rizzo has an MA in Social Science from the University of Chicago and a BA in History from New York University. He is bilingual in English and Moroccan Arabic and conversant in Modern Standard Arabic. He uses he/him/his pronouns.
