Senior Organizational Development Specialist, DEVELOP
Shawna Walsh is a Senior Organizational Development (OD) Specialist at EnCompass for the DEVELOP Project. With more than 10 years of experience working in development effectiveness, Shawna’s expertise spans facilitating highly consultative and theory-based strategy development and evaluation processes and designing and executing organizational development interventions based on clearly articulated needs. Prior to joining the Encompass DEVELOP team, Shawna co-founded and led a strategy consultancy for SRI Executive for nearly 6 years, having worked with clients such as Fairtrade International, the CGIAR system, Women Deliver, the Hewlett Foundation, Promundo, the Global Innovation Fund, UNESCO, UNEP, and many others across the international development landscape and sectors. Prior to working with SRI Executive, Shawna also supported the first iteration of GHPOD with Social Impact. She has a particular passion for gender and climate justice, intersectional feminist frameworks, and inclusive and meaningful change processes that unlock innovation and impact at scale. Shawna holds an MA in Conflict Resolution and Reconciliation from Trinity College Dublin, a BA from Boston University, and is a qualified mediator.
