Pragati Godbole supports EnCompass’ evaluation work on USAID's Data and Evidence for Education Program (DEEP) and the MacArthur Foundation’s Big Bet – On Nigeria program. Dr. Godbole brings expertise in international education, gender and social inclusion, humanitarian assistance, research and evaluation, and fundraising. Comfortable with both large-scale quantitative analyses as well as qualitative methods of inquiry, Dr. Godbole has conducted evaluations across diverse geographical contexts in the areas of education, youth development, maternal and child health, and democracy and governance. Prior to joining EnCompass, Dr. Godbole taught undergraduate and graduate level courses on diversity and inclusion, international education and sustainable development, and quantitative research methods at the University of Maryland, College Park, and American University.
Dr. Godbole holds a Ph.D. in Education Policy Studies and an M.Ed. in Educational Psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park. She also has a M.A. in Psychology from Delhi University, India. She speaks Hindi/Urdu, Marathi, Bangla, and English fluently, and has working knowledge of Russian and French.
