International HR Manager
Ms. Kristin Deardorff is EnCompass’ International HR Manager, working with project teams to ensure that HR policies and procedures for in-country offices are fully compliant with ethical standards, international labor laws, and the terms of the contract. Ms. Deardorff provides HR expertise to inform proposal budgets, make go/no go business development decisions, design staffing plans, coordinate new hire onboarding, and provide overall HR support for country project teams. Ms. Deardorff has worked in the international development sector for over 4 years for both non-profit NGOs and for-profit government contractors. Before joining EnCompass, she served as the International HR Generalist for Evidence Action, and the Global HR Manager at The QED Group LLC. She has a vast array of full-cycle HR expertise including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and learning and development. Ms. Deardorff enjoys learning about how HR is practiced on other countries and the unique ways business is conducted abroad. She received an MS in Human Resources Development from Towson University, MD and a BSBA in Business and Spanish Administration from Slippery Rock University, PA.
