Jennifer Casto is the Gender and GBV Specialist and supports the Technical Assistance and Evaluation team with the management of the USAID ADVANTAGE IDIQ and EnCompass’ broader gender portfolio. She has eight years of international development experience including three and a half years living and working in Zambia as a Peace Corps volunteer. Ms. Casto's experience includes international and domestic work on gender-based violence, girls’ education, gender equality, and female empowerment. In addition to gender, Ms. Casto also has extensive experience working on HIV, education, youth, and inclusive development. She is skilled in technical assistance, evaluation, training, facilitation, project design, and implementation.
Ms. Casto holds a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Affairs and English, and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Virginia.
