John Byabagambi is EnCompass' Regional Senior Quality Improvement Advisor working on the voluntary medical male circumsision (VMMC) CQI project. He has 12 years of experience working in developing countries, seven of which have been spent on health systems strengthening using the Continuous Quality Improvement approach.
Mr. Byabagambi has designed and implemented improvement projects in VMMC, HIV care and treatment, maternal and child health, health workforce development, and leadership for quality. He has extensive experience working with public health systems, and with the development of PEPFAR VMMC quality programing. He has hands-on experience in biomedical research and management of various infectious diseases.
Mr. Byabagamdi holds a Masters in Management (Project Planning and Management), a Master of Public Health, and a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery obtained in Uganda. He is an active fellow with the International Society for Quality of Healthcare (ISQua).
