Gender Specialist II
Elizabeth Hohenberger is a Gender Specialist II, working on the Feed the Future Advancing Women’s Empowerment (AWE) Program and the MCC Blanket Purchase Agreement for Gender and Social Inclusion. She has 5 years of experience in agriculture, food security, and gender inclusion. Ms. Hohenberger previously supported USAID FTF programs in Rwanda and Kenya, a program supporting the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation’s Agricultural Development team’s monitoring and evaluation systems, and a Global Affairs Canada program in Haiti. She also has experience in market systems development, food security, livestock, and women’s empowerment. She received an MS from University of California, Davis in International Agricultural Development and a BA from Fordham University in Economics and International Political Economy.
