Daniel Freehling
Deputy Director, GHPOD II
Daniel Freehling is the Deputy Program Director of the USAID Global Health Professional and Organizational Development II Program (GHPOD II), a 5-year contract managed by EnCompass. Mr. Freehling brings substantial experience in the design and implementation of large-scale international learning and development programs. He works closely with the GHPOD II Program Director and client on program strategy, work plan development and revision, and fielding staff/consultant teams for assignments. He also provides oversight of the program's financial/operational management. Mr. Freehling is skilled in both traditional and agile project management approaches and is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I).
Mr. Freehling holds an MBA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a BA in International Relations and Political Science from Boston University. He is pursuing an MA in Organizational Leadership and Learning through the George Washington University.
