Corey Thompson
Program Coordinator, GHPOD II
Corey Thompson is a Program Coordinator for USAID’s Global Health Professional and Organizational Development II (GHPOD II) project. Prior to joining EnCompass, Ms. Thompson was a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) Educator with Peace Corps Ethiopia. In her two years with the Peace Corps, she directly taught students, planned and directed multiple community-based development programs, and served on the post’s Gender and Development Committee. Before moving to Ethiopia, Ms. Thompson was a fellow at SOS Children’s Villages International, where she supported the nonprofit's fundraising efforts through grant writing and donor stewardship.
Ms. Thompson attended James Madison University where she received BAs in International Affairs and Spanish, with minors in Latin American & Caribbean Studies and Humanitarian Affairs.
