Senior Learning Specialist
Alison Murray is a skilled trainer, facilitator, and project manager with 15 years of experience working with the private sector and government agencies. At EnCompass, she has worked on multiple projects for USAID. She has planned, facilitated, and coordinated technical training programs, new employee orientation programs, and off-site conferences for USAID. Most recently, Ms. Murray led the development of a 5-year Gender Learning Strategy for USAID’s Office of Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment, which aimed to build the technical capacity and capability of USAID staff to integrate gender into their work. She has also served as a facilitator for USAID’s Foreign Service Officer (FSO) Orientation Program. In an earlier role, she coordinated the launch of an international training program for USAID Foreign Service Nationals and organized an annual conference for over 500 U.S. Department of Education Office of Migrant Education staff. She is an experienced instructional designer and an accomplished writer and editor.
Ms. Murray has a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Vermont and a Master of Arts in Teaching from University of Maryland Global Campus.
