Arit Essang
Project Coordinator, GROW
Arit Essang is a Project Coordinator for EnCompass’ team implementing the USAID Generate Results within Our Work (GROW) contract. She has worked with nonprofit, nongovernmental, and international organizations in Nigeria, Uganda, and the United States. Previously, Ms. Essang lived and worked in Nigeria, providing management, analytical, and logistical support for organizations implementing health projects funded by USAID, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and The Global Fund. After earning an MPH in Global Health, she worked as an intern on the USAID Global Health Supply Chain Program – Procurement and Supply Management project, also supporting other USAID contracts. Her academic and professional experiences have given her the opportunity to develop expertise in public health, global health, and international development. Ms. Essang has an MPH in Global Health from the University of Maryland – Baltimore School of Medicine and a BS in Public Health from Babcock University in Nigeria.
