The Evaluators’ Institute (TEI), Building Capacity for Evaluation Professionals
The Evaluators’ Institute (TEI) has been a leading provider of professional training for evaluation capacity building for more than 20 years. In 2016, EnCompass officially took over management of all operations, including the planning and delivery of multiple training conferences per year. Through TEI, EnCompass offers evaluation professionals training at all levels and all steps of the evaluation process, from the inception of a project through implementation and the delivery of findings to maximize use and impact. Participants can combine TEI trainings for professional evaluation certification at the beginner, intermediate, and master evaluator levels.
EnCompass also facilitates special training and discussion opportunities for TEI that address current issues in the evaluation field. For example, TEI partnered with Washington Evaluators to facilitate a panel discussion of how evaluation has been approached by federal administrations. TEI also partnered with the American Evaluation Association and the Centers for Disease Control to offer special trainings on how culture, technology, and strategic facilitation intersect with evaluation.
