If you’ve been looking to enhance your professional network and your understanding of evaluation, The Evaluators’ Institute (TEI)— managed by EnCompass LLC— may be the perfect place for you. During our flagship, annual July program, TEI will be presenting two free panels featuring leaders in the field of evaluation, and we want you to join us!
The first panel was held on Monday, July 10th, on the topic of “Encouraging Use – Presenting Data in Creative and Compelling Ways”. Panelists included Stephanie Evergreen of Evergreen Consulting, Mike Shoag of Forum One, and EnCompass CEO Tessie Catsambas. The discussion focused on using creative methods to engage stakeholders in evaluation data and results. Let our experts help you take your dissemination efforts to the next level- you will soon find a summary video of the panel on the TEI website.
The second panel, on Thursday, July 20th, is entitled “The Demand Side of Evaluation – The Commissioner/ Funder Perspectives”. Kerry Bruce of Social Impact, Elizabeth Roen of USAID’s Office of Learning, Molly Irwin of the Department of Labor, and Kantahyanee Murray of the Annie E. Casey Foundation will speak about what commissioners and funders of evaluation services are seeking from evaluators. The conversation is sure to provide valuable insight on the panelists’ priorities and expectations, and it will be webcast live at this link.
Space is limited, so please RSVP on TEI’s website to attend either of these sessions. The panels will take place from 6:30-8:00 pm and will be preceded by a reception starting at 5:30pm. Both events will be held at the Potomac Ballroom in the Rockville Hilton, 1750 Rockville Pike, Rockville, Maryland, 20852.
Registration for TEI’s July Session is not a prerequisite for attending the panels, but make sure to read all about the excellent courses being offered here. If you are interested in learning more about upcoming deliveries and future panels/events, please sign up for the TEI mailing list here.
