EnCompass is delighted to expand its relationship with the U.S. State Department and support their important contributions to human rights around the world. Through two new contracts, we are assisting the State Department with performance management and evaluation services. EnCompass is proud to announce the election of our CEO, Tessie Tzavaras Catsambas, to a senior leadership position at the American Evaluation Association (AEA). She will serve a 3-year term as president-elect in 2018, president in 2019, and immediate past president in 2020.

AEA champions the use of evaluation to inform public policy, make better program decisions, and enhance organizational effectiveness. The organization has about 8,000 independent members from around the world.

EnCompass is delighted to announce that we are expanding our work with USAID’s AIDSFree program, which aims to improve the effectiveness of HIV treatment and prevention efforts. In our new roles, we will provide technical support to USAID’s voluntary medical male circumcision (VMMC) programs. VMMC is a highly effective procedure in reducing the spread of HIV and increasing the accessibility of HIV testing services for males.

EnCompass is excited to announce we have established a presence in Ethiopia, where we are part of a consortium project led by Pathfinder International tasked with implementing USAID’s Transform: Primary Health Care project.

Our six-member team is based in Addis Ababa and four regions:

  • Amhara
  • Oromia,
  • Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples’ Region
  • Tigray

This will be EnCompass’ largest field presence to date.
