Learning Specialist, GHPOD II
Ms. Anderson is a Learning Specialist with USAID’s Global Health Professional and Organizational Development Project (GHPOD II). Before joining EnCompass, she worked for USAID’s Human Capitol and Talent Management Bureau, Center for Professional Development at the Washington Learning Center (WLC). In her role at the WLC she facilitated training on technical applications for USAID employees. Prior to joining USAID, Ms. Anderson spent seven years with the Department of Defense (DoD) where she designed and delivered learning experiences for U.S. Marines and their families. A critical aspect of her training portfolio focused on facilitating training activities on leadership, motivation and group dynamics for service members and DoD contractors in the National Capitol Region (NCR).
Ms. Anderson spent her childhood in West Africa and Italy, returning to West Africa in 2009 to intern with the Department of State. She holds a B.A. in International Relations from American Public University.
