VMMC Project Coordinator
Kristi Moses is EnCompass' coordinator for the Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision (VMMC) EQA/CQI team on the USAID-funded AIDSFree project. She has experience in project logistical support, social science research methods, gender, and evaluation. Before joining EnCompass, Ms. Moses worked for Peace Corps in Washington, D.C., as a program coordinator for the Office of Programming and Training Support. In this role, she assisted staff in 60+ countries to build capacity in their country programs. Additionally, she participated in a comprehensive evaluation of a Feed the Future project. Ms. Moses also worked as a recruiter for Peace Corps in Seattle, Washington, assessing interested candidates in their ability to represent the U.S. abroad and work in community development. She was previously a seasonal ranger for the National Park Service.
Ms. Moses served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ghana, promoting healthy sanitation practices and educating people in malaria and HIV prevention. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Anthropology with a minor in music from Central Washington University and a Master of Arts degree in Applied Anthropology and Women’s Studies from the University of Maryland, College Park. In graduate school, she focused on projects in international development that merged environment conservation and population health outcomes.
