Learning Specialist, GHPOD II
Ashley Whittington is EnCompass’ Learning Specialist for the Global Health Professional and Organizational Development II (GHPOD II) project, where she designs, facilitates, and manages learning experiences for USAID’s Bureau for Global Health. She has over seven years of experience in instructional design, and she is passionate about creating accessible and equitable learning by connecting learners with knowledge that honors their experiences and realities.
Prior to joining EnCompass and the GHPOD II team, Ms. Whittington worked at Peace Corps headquarters as an instructional designer and e-learning specialist. She was previously a Bilingual Education Program Assistant at American University and served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Mongolia.
Ms. Whittington holds a MA in International Training and Education from American University and a dual BA in International Relations and Foreign Languages and Literatures from the University of Delaware. She speaks Spanish, Russian, and Mongolian.
